Post-Modernism

Modernism

The sculpturing of present day, the design and impact of everyday life. Improvements varying but quite functional, even though the design proves otherwise, perhaps for luxury, a admiration can be built upon the featuring or the outlook from a persons point of viewing.

Feminism

The belief in which women are seen as equals to men. They deserve the same treatment, same pay, same rights as any working man, the wages given should not be any different between the sexes. During the war, women took the jobs of the men while they were fighting during the second world war, creating supplies, weaponary, but as soon as the men arrive, they take their original roles as housewives, who take care of the children and always have the food ready for the men after a day of work. Should women deserve this treatment? They are as important as a man.

Semiotics is known to be the study of signs and symbols through the modern day life. Studying the mind of a person in a way of words, the placement of colour with a diffetrent word, many will believe the word in place will be the answer but does the mind make you think immediately of what a sign reads within the astate of a persons ideal answer solving question theory.

Gender

People who believe they belong to a certain class or species of people, would they say gender can objectify how many people believe they deserve a place in the world. Women have been treated differently because of the men are always known as the definitive species. Even though powerful women have taken a stand, many men will treat a woman as if they do not have a right to belong with the rest of the world in which men during the early twentieth century ruled the planet so to speak. As women rightly fought against the no women's votes such as a group of qwomen calling themselves the Suffrogettes, abolishing the rule against women voting dyuring the 1940s.

Mass effect

A game inspired by beautifully crafted 3D graphics, over the last few games, the storyline does inspire some of the ideas I have focused on within a few pieces of my work before this year at university. This year though has made my interest in this type of genre believe in more than the simple world we currently strive in. Of course there will always be a few of the basics but over time peoples thoughts towards reality and fantasy has encouraged similar games to be brought to life by inspirational designers who specialise in the creation of a game such as Mass Effect set in the future many people believeve will happen.

Through the current years my interests in art has evolved. Changing from simple drawings to the work I have designed within the previous three years spent at City College Norwich. From this, my techniques within art have slowly improved, working from - Observation and scaled drawings, but through these studies, I found myself leading towards my passion of art, not only drawing but the body, the face, the detail of a person's overall design, mostly life drawing has always been a strength of mine.

Many artists' have given the inspiration for some of my work but these artists' in particular caught my attention immediately after viewing their work, includes; Marguerite Sauvage, Mark Ryden, but also game designers who have inspired many of my works during the last few months or so, specifically in the world of fantasy and MMO where millions can become involved in the world of social gaming and level up, gain weapons, abilities, armour and much more.

I have chosen these artists because of the detail and imagination they reveal by creating different varieties of work, each having their own outlook on the word "Art".
